By train or bus
The Museum is within easy reach of the central railway station and the bus station (Stazione delle Corriere – Porto Mercantile). Visitors can walk to the Museum from both locations or get there by bus (lines 1/2, 3, 8, 14, 16, 27 - AMAT and CTP, with connections).
By car
Visitors can drive to Taranto via the state road S.S. 7 Taranto-Brindisi and from Southwest via the state road S.S. 106 Taranto-Reggio Calabria.
From Northwest, visitors can drive to Taranto via the main highway: the Adriatic A14. The highway ends at Massafra and the road continues towards Taranto via the state road S.S. 7 Taranto-Massafra.
