Agreements
THE MArTA MUSEUM
The MArTA, which on the basis of the provisions contained in D.P.C.M. No. 171 of August 29, 2014, has achieved the status of “special autonomy”, has identified its institutional mission as the scientific and cultural management, curatorship and leadership of eduational and cultural enhancement projects addressed to the territory. Furthermore, D.P.C.M. No. 171 of August 29, 2014, Article 35, paragraph 2 and Article 1 paragraph 3 of the Ministerial Decree of 23 December 2014 of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities, and Tourism, concerning “The Organization and functioning of state museums”, empower State Museums to sign, also for educational purposes, agreements with public bodies and with study and research institutes. The MArTA is also empowered to cooperate through the signing of specific agreements with bodies of the third sector in order to strengthen the ties with the territory and pursue the goals of an inclusive Museum that is open to all types of public.

Framework Agreements, Memorandums of Understanding and Agreements
Extraordinary Commissioner for urgent reclamation, environmentalization and redevelopment actions in Taranto
Technical and scientific collaboration, within the sphere of their respective competences, for the development and implementation of measures to disseminate information about the environmental upgrading process and enhancement of the cultural system that is being carried out in a perspective of development and intelligent growth of the Taranto area.
Port Authority of the Ionian Sea
Adoption of integrated and coordinated actions for the implementation of strategies to promote and enhance the cultural heritage linked to the sea and to the places that give the territory its identity.
University of Udine
Collaboration in scientific and technological research for the development of accessible software for desktop and mobile systems to guide visitors in the fruition of the cultural heritage items conserved at the MArTA.
University of Salento
Collaboration in activities related to the European Researchers’ Night within the ERN-Apulia project.
Confcommercio - Enterprises for Italy - Province of Taranto
Collaboration in enhancing the tourism potential of the territory. The Agreement envisages discounts on the cost of the admission tickets to the Museum.
AMAT S.p.A. (Company for Mobility in the Taranto Area)
Collaboration in enhancing the tourism potential of the territory with special regard to mobility. The Agreement envisages discounts on the cost of the relevant tickets.
Jonian Dolphin Conservation
Start joint initiatives with the aim of enhancing the cultural and tourism potential of the territory, with special regard to the resources of the sea.
Italian Association of Classical Culture - "Adolfo Mele" delegation in Taranto
Development and implementation of cultural initiatives.
'Amici dei Musei' (Friends of Museums) Association - Taranto
Development and implementation of cultural initiatives.
Alexander Wiesel Italy-Israel Association, Bari
Development and implementation of cultural initiatives related to the theme of multiculturalism, peace and inclusion, in particular on the occasion of the European Day of Jewish Culture.
Consumer Guidance and Defence Association, Taranto
Actions aimed at addressing the weakest sections of the population informing them about the cultural heritage of the territory.
I.C.O. Magna Graecia Orchestra
Development and implementation of scientific study and research projects and organization of musical events. Within the framework of the Agreement mutual benefits are provided in terms of discounts on the cost of tickets.
AFO6 Association, Leporano
Collaboration to enhance the tourism potential of the territory, especially on the occasion of the “Cinzella Festival”. As part of the Agreement, there are discounts on the cost of the admission ticket to the Museum.

Promotion of the territory through the development of cultural projects.

Apulian Public Theatre - Regional Consortium for the Arts and Culture
Development and implementation of actions aimed at promoting culture in its broadest sense, including the performing arts, in particular in favour of the city of Taranto and its territory.
Voluntary Service Centre in the province of Taranto
Joint development of actions aimed at promoting culture within the community also through the organization of events, such as conferences and seminars on topics of common interest and workshops with the involvement of local volunteer workers.
